The World's 50 Best Bars ranks Bar Mauro No. 10 in its 2026 list. A year earlier it was No. 14 in North America's 50 Best Bars 2025 and No. 54 worldwide, and En Primeur Club counts it among the city's most decorated cocktail bars.
Roma Norte, with its low-rise streets shaded by jacarandas, has become the centre of Mexico City's serious cocktail scene. Food expert Anais Martinez of World of Mouth calls Bar Mauro perfect for a nightcap or for starting a night out, and recommends its "maurito".
