Table by Bruno Verjus

Paris

Table by Bruno Verjus is a small restaurant at 3 Rue de Prague in Paris's 12th arrondissement, France, led by chef Bruno Verjus. Verjus, who comes from Roanne in the Loire, had never cooked in a professional kitchen until about a decade before the restaurant rose to fame. It holds two Michelin stars, which it earned in 2022.

The World's 50 Best Restaurants ranks Table No. 8 in its 2025 list. The critic Andy Hayler scores the food 18 out of 20, and Gastromondiale praises an "obsession to source only the best ingredients".

Verjus' focus is on fish and shellfish, such as sardines from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Norwegian shellfish from Roderick Sloan, but he takes the same care with vegetables, meat and a small choice of cheeses. The tasting menu opens with "Couleur du Jour", a plate of freshly cut vegetables, and always ends with his chocolate tart with capers and caviar and olive-jam madeleines. With only 24 seats it is one of the hardest tables to book in Paris, and its fans include Hedi Slimane, René Redzepi and Carole Bouquet. Andy Hayler reports that the last service is set for 22 December 2026.
