SingleThread is a farm, restaurant and inn in Healdsburg, in California's Sonoma County, opened in December 2016. It is owned by Kyle and Katina Connaughton; Kyle trained as a chef, and Katina studied sustainable agriculture.
La Liste places it at No. 1 in its Top 1000 for 2026 with a score of 99.5 points. That top score is shared by ten restaurants, so the No. 1 is a joint first place in a ranking that covers more than 1,000 establishments in 77 countries. The five-acre farm grows vegetables, flowers, olives and fruit and keeps bees, chickens and cattle. The 11-course dinner menu combines Japanese influences with farm produce, changes nightly and comes in vegetarian, pescatarian and omnivore versions. Kyle Connaughton worked for Michel Bras in Hokkaido and Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck before opening SingleThread. Michelin awarded two stars in 2018 and three in 2019, and the AvroKO-designed interior won a James Beard Award in 2017.
