Sézanne
Tokyo
Sézanne is a modern French restaurant on the seventh floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, Japan. Chef Daniel Calvert cooks classically rooted modern French cuisine built on Japan's finest seasonal ingredients.
The World's 50 Best Restaurants ranks Sézanne No. 7 in its 2025 list, up from No. 15 in 2024. In 2024 it also topped Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, where it was named the best restaurant in Japan, and the MICHELIN Guide Tokyo awarded it two stars.
Hong Kong architect and interior designer André Fu created the rooms. Guests start in a salon stocked with carefully chosen champagnes before moving to a dining room that looks into the kitchen, and a chef's table offers a closer view of the brigade at work. The menu changes with the seasons.
