Guy Savoy

Paris, France

Restaurant Guy Savoy is a French restaurant in Paris, created by chef Guy Savoy in 1980. Since May 2015 it has occupied the Monnaie de Paris, the French national mint building, after an earlier move to a larger space in 1987.

La Liste places it at No. 1 in its Top 1000 for 2026 with a score of 99.5 points. That top score is shared by ten restaurants, so the No. 1 is a joint first place in a ranking that covers more than 1,000 establishments in 77 countries. According to Wikipedia, the Paris restaurant has held La Liste's No. 1 position every year from 2017 to 2026.

The Monnaie de Paris premises were designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and hold six dining rooms looking onto the Seine, with works of art on loan from François Pinault. The menu offers à la carte dishes alongside a 13-course tasting menu. The Paris restaurant received three Michelin stars in 2002 and kept them until 2023, when it was reduced to two. A second Guy Savoy opened in 2006 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, designed to mirror the Paris original.
