Acre

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

Acre is the restaurant and cocktail bar of Acre Resort in Ánimas Bajas, San José del Cabo, Mexico. It cooks farm-to-table under Chef David Fajardo, with a globally inspired menu that is locally sourced and changes with the seasons.

Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Best of the Best awards rank Acre No. 9 among the world's fine-dining restaurants for 2026. The restaurant is also listed in the Michelin Guide, which gave it a Michelin Green Star in 2024, 2025 and 2026 for its commitment to sustainability.

At the heart of the resort is a working farm that grows more than 60 organic crops for the kitchen, among mango and citrus trees, while meat and seafood arrive daily from nearby suppliers. Guests reach the dining room along a path lined with giant palms and up a grand staircase. All seating is outdoors, among lush plants and under hanging lanterns, which the travel blog The Fringe Explorer says makes the place "feel jungle like". Dinner is served daily, with brunch at weekends and a ribs night on Wednesdays.
