The Peninsula Chicago is a hotel at the corner of East Superior Street and North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. It belongs to the Hong Kong-based Peninsula Hotels group, whose parent Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels took full ownership in 2009.

La Liste's 2025 ranking of the ten best hotels in the world lists it at No. 8, and Time Out's report notes it was the only hotel in the United States on that list. Wikipedia adds that U.S. News & World Report named it the No. 2 hotel in the U.S. in 2018 and that Travel + Leisure called it the No. 1 hotel in Chicago in 2017.

Its design, by Elkus/Manfredi Architects, takes inspiration from the group's flagship in Hong Kong, including Chinese marble lions at the Superior Street entrance. The hotel, completed in 2001, has 339 rooms and suites and restaurants including Shanghai Terrace. The fitness centre fills the top two floors, with a 25-metre pool behind floor-to-ceiling windows looking towards Lake Michigan.
