Chablé Yucatán

Chocholá

Chablé Yucatán is a resort near the small town of Chocholá in Mexico's Yucatán state, about 25 miles south-west of the state capital, Mérida. It pairs a historic hacienda with boldly contemporary guest villas, 38 rooms in all, set in the jungle.

The World's 50 Best Hotels ranked it No. 8 in 2025. Condé Nast Traveler calls it a different and even unique Mexican property, and adds that travellers to this part of the peninsula "won't find a more luxurious option".

The grounds feel like a private Eden where small Yucatán deer wander, with Mayan sites and colonial towns within reach. The villas have private pools and terraces facing the jungle. Its restaurants are led by Mexican chefs including Jorge Vallejo, with Ixi'im serving Mexican cuisine built on herbs, fruit and vegetables from the resort's Maya garden, and the spa is set around a cenote.
