Swiss International Air Lines, styled SWISS, is the flag carrier of Switzerland and part of the Lufthansa Group. Its registered office and operational headquarters are in Kloten, near Zurich Airport, its main hub, with Geneva as its secondary hub. It flies within Europe and to North America, South America, Africa and Asia.

Condé Nast Traveller readers rank SWISS No. 8 among the world's airlines in the Readers' Choice Awards 2026. Alongside its passenger network, the airline runs Swiss WorldCargo, which uses the belly capacity of its passenger planes.

The airline was formed after the 2002 bankruptcy of Swissair, built around Swissair's former regional subsidiary Crossair, and began operating as the new national airline on 31 March 2002. After heavy early losses it halved them year after year and reported a net profit of $220 million in 2006. Lufthansa completed its takeover on 1 July 2007, and SWISS has been a member of Star Alliance since 1 April 2006.
