Starlux Airlines is a Taiwanese full-service carrier headquartered in Taipei, with its hub at Taoyuan International Airport. It was founded in 2018 by Chang Kuo-wei, who also captained its maiden flight on 23 January 2020. Along with China Airlines and EVA Air, it is one of Taiwan's three major international airlines.

AirlineRatings.com ranks Starlux No. 5 in its World's Best Airlines for 2026 in the full-service category. The name itself signals that ambition: the English "lux" refers to luxury and the airline's intended premium positioning.

The Chinese name means star and universe: the star honours Chang's father, Evergreen Group founder Chang Yung-fa, who navigated by the stars at sea,. The airline's launch coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, and it suspended all scheduled flights in March 2020. It entered the North American market with a nonstop service to Los Angeles on 26 April 2023, later adding Seattle and partnerships with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and Etihad Airways.
