La Réserve Paris

France

La Réserve Paris is a hotel and spa at 42 Avenue Gabriel in Paris, midway between Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and a short walk from the Champs-Élysées. It occupies a private mansion built in 1854 for the family of the Duke of Morny, and it belongs to the hotels of Michel Reybier, owner of the Bordeaux estate Cos d'Estournel.

La Liste places La Réserve Paris among the ten hotels that share the top spot in its 2026 world ranking, all with a score of 99.5 out of 100. It is one of two Paris addresses on that list, next to Le Meurice.

The original façades and staircase survive; during restoration the staircase was taken apart and rebuilt piece by piece. There is no reception desk: a maître d'hôtel greets guests, who are shown to one of 40 rooms and suites, many named for the views of the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Palais. Chef Jérôme Banctel runs the kitchens at Le Gabriel, while La Pagode de Cos takes its name from the estate's second wine. The spa is built around a 16-metre indoor pool with three treatment rooms and a hammam.
