The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) in Baltimore, Maryland, in the United States, serves as the teaching hospital and biomedical research centre of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. It was incorporated in 1867 and opened in 1889. The Johns Hopkins Children's Center, which treats patients from birth to age 21, is attached to the hospital.

Newsweek and Statista rank The Johns Hopkins Hospital No. 6 in World's Best Hospitals 2026, their Top 250 list. Wikipedia adds that U.S. News & World Report named it the best overall hospital in the United States for 21 years in a row, from 1991 to 2020.

Wikipedia counts the hospital and its school of medicine among the institutions that founded modern American medicine, and the birthplace of traditions such as rounds, residents and house staff. Several specialties started there: neurosurgery with Harvey Cushing and Walter Dandy, cardiac surgery with Alfred Blalock and Vivien Thomas, and child psychiatry with Leo Kanner. In 2021 it marked 32 consecutive years in the top five hospitals in the US.
